Results
The philosophical pathway by Joseph Pilates called the 10-20-30 rule, emphasizes that consistent practice leads to transformative changes. “After 10 sessions you will notice a difference, after 20 sessions other people will notice a difference, after 30 sessions you'll have a whole new body.”
The idea of a new body isn't about changing size, but about achieving strength, enhanced physical and mental clarity, and a deeper connection to one's body after a commitment to practicing Pilates.

EPOC
Experience the lasting benefits of Excess Post-exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC) following a 232 Pilates session. You can go about your day feeling energized and refreshed, rather than completely depleted.
EPOC is the elevated rate of oxygen and calorie consumption that continues after a Pilates workout has ended. It’s the gift that keeps on giving for days following a private session that focuses on intention and precision.

Hi, I’m Diana
At 232 Pilates, I work closely with students to meet them where they are, whether building strength, recovering from injury or seeking meditative movement, while thoughtfully challenging them in an encouraging environment.
With decades of movement experience rooted in Yoga, Ballet and Pilates, my approach emphasizes strength, alignment and precise movement patterns that help clients feel more at home in their bodies.
For fifteen years, I trained in the Vaganova Ballet Method at Loyola University under Gayle Parmelee and Laura Zambrano. During college, I danced at Joffrey Ballet School and Hubbard Street Dance Chicago.
My love of movement was shaped early on by my Ukrainian immigrant mother, whose marathon training and twilight tennis matches instilled in me a lifelong appreciation for health and physical strength.
It was at Hubbard Street Dance in the aughts when I took my very first Classical Pilates class. At the time Pilates was still a relatively niche practice, making the experience both unique and transformative. Since then, Pilates has remained a constant in my life and movement practice. I practiced Mat Pilates for many years before expanding into the apparatuses in 2018. My teaching today draws from years of dedicated study of the Pilates method, along with a lifelong background in dance and yoga.
I also draw from a long-standing Ashtanga yoga practice, which began at age 16 and includes teacher training and mentorship under Bruno Teyssandier. If I’m not practicing Pilates and Yoga in my own studio, I regularly continue my movement studies across New York City.
Alongside my commitment to movement, I have worked in the nonprofit arts sector, helping to raise grant funding to support cultural institutions and nonprofit organizations. My work included fundraising and curatorial collaborations with galleries and museum institutions, supporting artists and permanent collections.
As the owner and lead instructor at 232 Pilates, I am dedicated to creating a thoughtful and welcoming studio centered entirely around my clients needs so they can develop a deeper connection to their bodies through the Pilates method.
I view Pilates as a lifelong practice and I strive to bring that spirit of curiosity and dedication into every session. With decades of movement experience, I aim to inspire people of all backgrounds and stages of life to embrace Pilates as a sustainable, long-term practice for health and well-being.
